Action: Antiseptic, analgesic, anti-tumoral, anticonvulsant, sedative, anti-inflammatory.  Lavender is beneficial for cleansing cuts and wounds and is ideal for skin care, since it prevents the build up of excess sebum, a skin oil that bacteria feed on.
